Hello, today our copy of "Sock Monkey Dreams" came in the mail! It is a book not to be missed! I really admire how the historian Folio delved deep into the history of us sock monkeys. Benny Hathaway is now my newest hero! Just like me, Timmy, Benny Hathaway is one of the few monkeys that can read and write. He started the first monkey newspaper, "The Monkey Ape Vine." I learned that I am a "preeble" a store bought sock monkey doll. All in all, this book was a great read for all sock monkey fans young or old.

Hi! Today was a wild day for weather! In the afternoon, hail started to pour from the clouds! Tina wouldn't let us near the windows. Luckily, there was no damage to our home. As you can see in the pictures, hail was everywhere! Hail is formed when the ice balls in clouds, bounce around and gather more ice. Eventually, the ice balls get too heavy and fall down as hail. Hope everyone is well! Timmy

Who says Sock Monke don't like breakfast? Here in the Sock Monkey Mayhem Kitchen, everyone gathers to share the morning. Tina is making her famous omelets as Tiana makes coffee with her sock dog Spot. Sammy multi-tasks as he checks his iPad and Fido eats from a dog bowl. And, I am eating Cream of Wheat with a banana. Just a normal morning at Sock Monkey Mayhem! The pattern for Tina's omelets is in Sock Monkey Clothes patterns. Make them for your sock monkey! Have a Great Day, Timmy

Everyone knows that monkeys love bananas, but sock monkeys love them too! They have great health benefits too! Here are ten facts about bananas that you and your sock monkey will love.
1.The banana plant is a giant herb.
2.Whether your banana is yellow, slightly spotty, or brown, it can still be eaten and cooked.
3.Bananas are a safe first solid food for babies. It was Timmy's first solid food!
4.Bananas are great for your heart beacause of their potassium levels.
5.Bananas can be made into a variety of foods. Here are a few: cakes, pies, smoothies, milkshakes, breads, muffins, cupcakes, and oatmeal.
6.A banana bunch is called a hand.
7.A lighter banana bread can be made from unripe bananas.
8.Bananas contain vitamin C. It helps protect sock monkeys from eye disease.
9.The banana is considered a berry.
10.You can ripen bananas, mangoes, and advocadoes faster by placing them in a paper bag with a tomato or apple. The gas released by the apple or tomato is trapped in the bag, and causes the fruit to ripen.
